La Selva Beach is a census designated place in Santa Cruz County and lies north of Watsonville and south of Aptos. While State owned and technically public, La Selva beach tends to be less crowded as a private gated parking lot, for which locals can obtain a key, is one of the main access points.
La Selva offers a variety of outdoor activities. The local Triangle park provides a green space for walking the dog, picnics, horseshoe competitions and other community events. Just 15 minutes from the Forest of Nisene Marks, scenic trails are a short drive away. In close to 10 minutes, you’ll arrive at the Seascape Golf resort. This resort features beautiful views of the Bay, full-service villas and suites, award winning Sanderlings restaurant, and access to Seascape Beach. The Seascape Golf Club is one of Northern California’s top Golf courses, spanning 6,034-yard and 18-holes.
Most of the homes in this area were built in the 1960’s and 70’s, though many have been remodeled since then. Some of the best coastal views can be found from luxury homes on La Selva’s ocean-cliffs. You can also find more modest, affordable single family residential housing, condos, and townhomes in the surrounding area.
